Designed with the farmer in mind, J&M's 6000 Series NitroGro Nitrogen Applicators feature a narrow transport width and a custom designed 1,850 (Model 6018) or 2,600 (Model 6026) gallon tank. The 55' to 62'-4" working widths accommodate coulters placed at 20", 22" or 30" row spacings to suit your farming needs. Choose single wheel or walking tandem dual wheel undercarriage on model 6018. Model 6026 NitroGro applicators are equipped with standard walking tandem dual wheel undercarriage.

6000 Series NitroGro applicators feature a short coupled tongue design for better trailing and less crop damage while turning.

Patented Wing Design

6000 Series NitroGro nitrogen applicators have a patented wing design with a customized wheel tank that offers an industry leading 11'-9" transport width and low 9'1" or 10'-8" tank height (11'-10" or 12'-10" overall transport height) for a lower center of gravity and greater stability.

Exclusive walking tandem dual wheel undercarriage "walks" over rough and uneven terrain, reducing compaction while allowing the coulters to stay at consistent depths for a more uniform application compared to rigid dual wheel undercarriages.

Shortest hitch-to-axle length (14'-0") allows the applicator to follow directly behind the tractor, creating just one set of tracks that reduces crop damage and eliminates the need for a steerable hitch option.

Parallel linkage toolbar design keeps the coulters and knives in correct position to the ground at all times. Wing sections allow 15° upward and 10° downward movement for consistent application over uneven terrain.

Standard flow monitors allow the operator to see the rate of flow to each coulter using a floating ball located inside the transparent inspection tube. Each coulter is connected to the flow monitors with a separate supply hose.

NitroGro 6000 Series Nitrogen Applicator Options

Para-Linkage Coulters

J&M's Para-Linkage coulter design keeps the applicator knives consistently in the ground while going over rocks and hard soil. As the Para-Linkage coulter rises, the knives rise at the same rate as the disc to ensure consistent fertilizer application at the desired depth. On traditional coulters, as the disc moves over an obstacle the knives swing up at an arc. This causes the knife depth and the fertilizer application to be inconsistent.

Para-Linkage coulters feature greaseless poly-bushings at all pivot locations to reduce maintenance and fatigue.

Row Closers

Adding row closers to your NitroGro seals the nitrogen in place, ensuring more is absorbed by the plant and less is wasted.

Raven Controller

The Raven SCS 450 automatically maintains the rate regardless of speed changes. The SCS 450 consoles include a 10-year non-volatile memory to maintain settings even with an extended loss of power.

Powerful ACE 750 PWM Pump

Upgrade to an ACE 750-22M PWM pump in place of standard ACE 155-206F PWM pump. The ACE 750 pump accommodates a higher volume. The PWM solenoid gives you control with more precision.

Depth Control Spool
