Why Add a Scale System?
Using a scale system to distribute seed can significantly increase your planting efficiency by precisely delivering seed across the planter boxes to ensure consistent and timely performance. J&M offers two precise scale systems with many options and features to fit your exact planting needs.
Which Scale System Do I Need?
Both scale systems will help you distribute your seed with precision. However, there are a few differences between the two systems. Our base scale system uses an Avery Weigh-Tronix 640XL indicator with an LCD display. The Weigh-Tronix system offers an optional wireless remote that allows you to remotely auto-dispense your seeds. Or, you can upgrade to the most advanced scale system on the market. The Intercomp scale system includes a wireless remote and additional features, such as automatic bin tracking. J&M's Intercomp seed tender scale system allows superior control and accuracy.

Which Controller Do I Need?
The Avery Weigh-Tronix scale system offers an optional Kartech wireless remote, while the Intercomp scale system uses an Intercomp wireless remote. Both are excellent controllers. The chart below can help you figure out which system is right for you because every farm has different needs.

Intercomp Scale System
Advanced System
For the most advanced seed tender scale system on the market, choose J&M's Intercomp scale system. The WC3-D indicator with built-in on-board controller and multi-function wireless remote allows the operator more control than ever before. The remote allows you to auto dispense door 1 or door 2 when transporting multiple seed varieties, both doors at the same time for a quick unload, or alternate between door 1 and 2 to unload the tender evenly for a stable load during transport.
The Intercomp system gives you complete conveyor control. In addition to hydraulically moving your conveyor front to back or up and down, you can speed up the conveyor for fast unloads or slow down the conveyor to gently transfer easily damaged seeds. Manage the talc speed wirelessly or with the on-board controller at an output rate of 1/2 to 40 cups per minute, while being dispensed proportionately to the speed of the conveyor to reduce talc waste. Control more than ever before with remote engine start and stop, electric tarp control and auto bin tracking.

On-Board Controller
The On-Board Controller is a secondary control option in case the batteries fail, the remote is misplaced or a cord is damaged. The On-Board Controller can be used in conjunction with the current controls, allowing the operator to switch back and forth seamlessly, and has the optional Talc Applicator controls included.
