Single Auger
Design
|
| Competitive grain carts using a horizontal floor auger, also known as a dual auger or “drag” auger system, must first auger the grain horizontally along the floor of the grain tank and then into the unloading auger that lifts the grain and discharges it through the auger spout. |

J&M’s patented grain carts feature a single auger design, which means that grain is unloaded through the auger system along a single axis of travel.
*More grain is damaged with dual auger systems due to the redirecting of grain
*Our single auger design requires less moving parts compared to conventional dual auger systems
*Using a direct drive gearbox (up to 200 horsepower) with oversized output shaft, J&M grain carts eliminate the need for chains, sprockets, pulleys or belts used on dual auger carts, reducing your chance of downtime and maintenance.
